Yes, Vortex Medical’s first aid courses fully comply with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines as stated in the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. We understand the importance of adhering to these regulations to ensure that both employers and individuals can confidently meet their workplace first aid requirements. Our courses are designed to be comprehensive and up-to-date, providing all participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle first aid situations effectively and safely.
At Vortex Medical, we pride ourselves on the exceptional qualifications of our trainers. All our instructors are not only trained to teach and assess but also bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Whether they are healthcare professionals who regularly teach or experts in their respective fields, you can be assured that our trainers are highly capable of conveying the material in an engaging and enthusiastic manner. This ensures that you receive the highest quality education in a way that is both enjoyable and effective.
We don’t use third-party awarding bodies – and that’s a good thing. The HSE removed the requirement for accreditation years ago because it doesn’t guarantee quality. We’re proud to offer training that’s better than accredited: it’s real, relevant, and led by current professionals with the most up-to-date clinical experience. And we pass the savings directly on to you. That means we accredit our own courses with our trusted external verifiers and expert medical team meaning we cut through the red tape so you don’t have to.
We can come to you! Most of our training is delivered on-site at your workplace, anywhere in the UK. Don’t have a venue? No problem – we can arrange one locally. Just let us know what works best for you.
Absolutely. We specialise in bespoke, scenario-based training that reflects the real risks in your environment. Whether you deal with machinery, remote locations, children, or high foot traffic – we can build a course just for you that’s practical, realistic, and HSE compliant.
You’ll receive a Vortex Medical certificate of completion, which proves you’ve passed a compliant, high-quality course delivered by frontline medical professionals. This certificate is fully accepted for workplace requirements and is valid for 3 years.
