Why We Don’t Use Accrediation!
At Vortex Medical, we often get asked why our courses aren’t “accredited” by an external body. The short answer is simple: because accreditation doesn’t make training better, and it often makes it more expensive for you.
Fully Compliant, Without the Extra Costs
Our courses meet and exceed all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for first aid training. That means they are fully recognised and accepted by UK workplaces. Choosing not to chase unnecessary accreditations allows us to keep courses affordable, while still delivering the very highest standards.
Accreditation Doesn’t Equal Quality
Accreditation schemes are essentially paid memberships. They don’t guarantee that the training you receive is taught by someone who actually knows what it’s like to deal with emergencies. What matters is the trainer’s expertise, accuracy of content, and ability to give you skills that genuinely work in real life. That’s exactly what we provide.
Real-World Expertise Instead
Every one of our courses is taught by an industry professional — someone who responds daily to life-threatening emergencies. We’ve seen first aid done well, and we’ve seen it go wrong. That experience shapes our training far more effectively than a logo from an accrediting body ever could.
Integrity and Transparency
We believe in being upfront with you. Instead of passing on accreditation fees that don’t add real value, we invest our time in keeping our courses clinically accurate, practical, and tailored to your workplace risks. That’s where your money goes — into training that could one day save a life.
